Supply Chain & Integration in 2026: what changed
A new ISO 9001, new Cisco repair terms, and no published burn-in time yet. Cisco, Dell and HPE hardware: supplied and integrated.
What changed this year for an order desk and staged racks, and what to put in your requirement.¹
Every date comes from the vendor's or publisher's own page. Third-party reports are marked.
1. ISO 9001:2026
ISO 9001:2026, published September 16, 2026, replaces the 2015 edition with a three-year transition to September 30, 2029. The design's staging records follow the new edition.

2. Cisco's repair terms
Cisco's support service description of July 24, 2026 no longer offers 8x5x4 on orders from April 24, 2026. The design's returns queue works to the next-business-day cutoff of 3:00 PM local depot time.

3. Smart Net Total Care is now Cisco Support
Cisco renamed Smart Net Total Care as Cisco Support from June 15, 2025, and retired its portal and service APIs on November 27, 2025.

4. Burn-in: still no published figure
HPE's Factory Express data sheet (Rev. 5, June 29, 2026) and Dell's rack integration sheet still publish no burn-in time. The design sets its own target: at least 24 hours per server, switch and storage unit.

What this means for a buyer
The design targets at least a day of burn-in for each server, switch and storage unit before racks ship, and works repair terms to each vendor's current cutoff.
